Now Christie has backed down - they're letting the nurse go home. First Cuomo backed down, now Christie. Two spineless governors who are looking pathetic right now.
Not surprised, that was all just theatre for the news. I doubt the backing down will make much news outside FOX.
I wished she had given Butterball Christie ebola. Imangine all the grease melting off that fat turkey. It would be enough to run IHOP for 2 days.
I hope she ventures out. And I hope she develops Ebola (and recovers). But even then she won't realize what an incompete boob she's showing herself to be.
She isn't going to win. There is this nice little clause that is used. For the good of the public. She went to a country where Ebola is rampant and now she wishes to just wonder around until she becomes infectious. Sorry, she can do 21 days away from the rest of us. That way we are all safe.
If the doctor had been held for 21 days, he wouldn't have been out exposing a cab driver, bowlers and a whole bunch of people on the subway system. They went to the countries with Ebola, now its time to wait before you can mingle with those of us who were smart enough to stay the hell out of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Weird. 21 days is so short, they won't even be able to get the suit filed before she's out of quarantine. And we all know how long these things take in the American court system. What does she hope to accomplish? Does she want a legal precedent against forced quarantine? Even though she's on record supporting quarantines in third-world countries?
Why is she suing? She's not black, or any of the other "oppressed minorities" unless she's a lesbian, and nobody in their right mind will oppress a lesbian, when they have Hillary and BO in their corner.
She's a liberal woman being detained by a "Republican" man...
