Tuesday, April 7, the day after Ed Schultz’ premiere show, MSNBC officials tried to put a happy face on the sad results by saying that they were “pleased” with the initial ratings and that they expected the show to grow over time.
After sixteen weeks on the air, MSNBC’s EdShow is on life support. Instead of growing, its ratings have gone down. In fact, they’re lower than those of David Schuster, who was booted from the time slot to make room for Schultz.

Ed Schultz now goes up against O'Reilly at 8 PM. What a massacre! But MSNBC has settled on the model of throwing red meat to a few hundred thousand far leftists. MSNBC can't pull a million viewers in prime time while Beck was pulling 2 or 3 million at 5PM on Fox.
Ed Shultz has to be the most pathetic news commentator on national television, followed by Kieth Olberman. Is MSNBC that desperate. What a shameful organization. Doomsday is not far off.

Ed Schultz appalls me. His hate and his lies (I have fact-checked his words) should not be condoned by any media source. He has taken free-speech too far. If he is an example of the Progressive Movement, count me out. He has no civility at all. With the loss of Alan Grayson (D-Florida) this week whom Ed Schultz just loved, he needs to be careful about his spiteful, hateful rhetoric. Average Americans do not like hate speech and nasty rhetoric when trying to challenge their opponents. It can be done without the ugly tone. He and Grayson are twins in hatred. And just who is dividing this country? The hate from the left on a daily basis is enough for me to run as far as I can to the right and I was a Jack Kennedy Democrat but those people are now extinct. Please take Ed Schultz OFF THE AIR ASAP! He is a disgrace to America.

What I appreciate about Bret Baier and friends over there is their civility and they never, ever offend the guests they have on. None of them do that. MSNBC lives for ridiculing people; they get off on it and that's why the ratings are so low. Americans want people to engage and challenge, but not ridicule one another. When people do that, it's because they have no point of view to defend, so they attack and always go below the belt. That's MSNBC in a nutshell.

Why I plan to vote the Republican Party line in November: Their honesty.
In January 2009, they admitted they are the "just say 'no' party," because they want our country to fail, and they excel at it. They gave us the Great Depression of 1929. Then stupidly we let the tax-and-spend Democrats run the country for about 45 years of normalcy and prosperity. In 1980, we woke up and put the fiscal conservative Republicans back in power. Two years later we were back in recession. Then they ran up the nation's debt to the point it took 30 percent of some of President Reagan's budgets just to pay interest on the national debt. Then in 1992 we stupidly elected that tax-and-spend Democrat Bill Clinton as president. He gave us eight years of an economic boom and high standard of living. But we returned to sanity in 2000 and put the Republicans back in power. It only took them six years to destroy our economy. With a track record like that, I have to support the Republican Party.
I have to stop now. The paddy wagon just showed up to take me back to the insane asylum.

I cannot believe this Schultz guy. He is bad news. What happened to real news shows. I can see why his ratings plummet. He is rude when people do not answer as he has planned. He seems to be on the edge of violence. He talks about right wing violence but ignores what the left has done. People have a tendency to become angry when someone is stealing from them and making slaves out of them. I hope they take him off the air before he strokes out. The extremes the left gone to are crazy. It seems all they do any more is resort to name calling, claiming everyone is a racist or a bigot. Maybe they should look in the mirror, expecially when it comes to people of religion. The world is upside down and they are on the bottom. They lie with impunity. It is one of their best tools.
