Townhall has a column about this today. Apparently two homes burned down the same night, prompting the local fire chief to call the feds and say, "Hey, how are we supposed to handle this mess that you assholes have created? We can't even put these fires out, you morons!" (Okay, those were not his exact words.)
Think about the bitterness those stupid EV owners are feeling. Their homes survive Hurrican Ian and then, while they're congratulating themselves on their good luck, the homes burn down because their EVs catch fire in the middle of the night.

This EV are polluting far more than any gas-powered vehicle. From the lithium batteries and now the toxic fumes from the burning plastic. If you want an EV go ahead and purchase one. Just don't expect those of us who want to get from point A to point B faster than riding a horse to feel sorry for you because of your misguided purchase.
