Elon University is offering a self-pleasure course to teach students how to masturbate

• So, I went to the source for the source, and there's a comment, supposedly from an official at the school.

  This is not true. The university is not offering the course. Students at Elon create short seminars and share information with their peers in free, non-credit programs during Winter Term. There is no faculty or staff involvement in the Burst the Bubble programs. These are programs by students and for students. This not a class or course of the university.   Still, are there no standards for classes put on by students?

  • Does the piece you read say where the funding that the students need to run the course comes from? My guess is it originates with the ever-present student fee slush fund.

• Surely they have some grasp of the subject- would acing the course be a stroke of luck?

  • This course should be mandatory for the college debate team. It's the only way they will become Master Debaters.
