Enhanced video appears to reveal a pair of gashes or welts on Zimmerman’s head. With the media putting in the due diligence that should have been committed to long before now it is easy to figure a couple of things might be going on here: A. They’re milking this story for all that it is worth. B. The whole thing is about to break in a way they never anticipated and it is time to step in front of the curve.

(Newser) – Another twist in the Trayvon Martin case: The chief homicide investigator probing the teenager's shooting wanted to charge George Zimmerman with manslaughter, but was overruled, sources tell ABC. Investigator Chris Serino filed an affidavit on the night of the shooting saying he was not convinced by Zimmerman's claims of self-defense, but the state attorney's office decided there was not enough evidence to make an arrest, the sources say.

I hope that George gets a very good lawyer to go after all of the establishment media.
Just learned to day that George was arrested after the Martin shooting. He was held for over five hours. I would call that an arrest. The prosecutor decided that there was not enough to hold George on and was released. I was under the impression that is how the justice system works. In 0bama's America you are guilty until proven innocent if you are a white Hispanic like George and the crime is against one of "his people" just like in a third world country.
I choose "B"...the media has been too busy convicting Zimmerman without all the facts, but are now finding out just how badly they've f*cked this all up.
This media blitz has nothing to do with Trayvon (whom I have yet to see an accurate photo of, BTW) or Zimmerman (with the tired old "menacing look" close up). I believe it is about a killing that involved a legally owned handgun and a legally carry permit. No one seems to care about criminals killing with illegal weapons...
The first thing they went after was the Florida law that gave carte blanche to anyone who wanted to shoot somebody else (the way the media explained it). No it doesn't. It's like self-defense: you cannot just claim self-defense and the police will say, "Well, okay then...carry on, sir." There will be an investigation.
I haven't kept up with it because I hate the media! But, the way the law works, is, they will investigate and determine what needs to be done and all the speculation by the media will be what it has always been: worthless. Case closed. Rant's over...
