While giving an economic speech in Osawatomie, Kansas, President Obama said, “It is great to be back in the state of Texas.” [Video at the link.] Or to paraphrase the Wizard of Oz, “TOTUS, I have the feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” We only bring this incident to your attention due to the fact that if one of the GOP candidates said it, you’d see it a few million times on the evening news. But since a Harvard genius Democrat did it, it will be down the memory hole in 5, 4, 3, 2….

I just want to explain to Barry that "you're not in Kansas anymore." -- on 01/20/2013.
Remember, he made a campaign speech in Berlin. He does'nt care where he's speaking, as long as a large crowd will show up & kiss his ass.
Yeah, I remember seeing footage of him shouting about "Deutschland über alles" -- then went rabbiting on about invading Poland or something.

Well, Obama thinks Hawaii is in Asia and that there are 57 states so confusing Kansas with Texas is just another Presidential gaffe that the MSM will ignore.

Yeah, that definitely gets under my skin. It keeps me angry at the media, though -- and in a way, the media oppression we are facing is generating the backlash that will eventually take it out of the running for good.

...actually, it never totally is the Republicans to lose. There's a lot of time between even the Primaries and the election. As good as things look from time to time, he is the president -- and gets to make game-changers that make it difficult to beat. FDR did that with Willkie. Willkie was the "let's get on a war footing" candidate, thought he had a sure winner -- but FDR put the country on a war footing -- and so Willkie lost.
That said, this tripe he's selling, I'm not buying. There are two kinds of "fairness", defined as equality. Equality of opportunity, and equality of outcome. The only way that equality of outcome can work is if you treat it as a zero-sum game, take over the entire economy, and start deciding who gets what. Then everyone suffers the same. The problem is, nobody prospers, either (except for the politicians).
The current country with the most "fairness" as defined by equality of outcome is North Korea. No thanks. Sure, there's rich and poor people here -- but here the poor people are fat and have game consoles. There, the whole country is a gulag.
Obama counts on his audience not knowing the difference between fairness, equality, and justice. I heard some of his speech and it was full on Marxist rhetoric wrapped in nonsensical platitudes aimed at the "middle class". It was awful at many levels.
I think Obama counts on his audience to not know what state they actually live in . So when he says " its great to be back in Texas " , his loyal voters can marvel at Obama's greatness , because now they live in a state that has a better jobs picture . It may require them to go to work , oh no , but then once he speaks about how great the city of Osawatomie is , presto , they're back in Kansas , collecting their check. Its a miracle !!!

Well, one way he is screwing the middle class is by piling up the debt. Who will be most hurt by servicing the interest on all of that Obama debt? If the accumulation of the national debt continues at the present rate, it will be at $25T in 10 years. There are not enough millionaires, billionaires, yacht and private plane owners to service that debt load. That leaves the middle class as the Democratic Party core constituency does not pay federal income tax.
Then he goes on and talks about the collective spirit in this country. WTF? Marxist jackass.
Us Texans don't really want him here, anyway. I think he might just be worried a certain Texan is about to take his job... say Perry or Paul.
