Just a thought here. How about getting COMPETENT people to do the work, with experts to oversee the projects, instead of a bunch of damned government "workers."
Because the goobermint would require you to use their "experts".
Most of this kind of work is done for government agencies, by private contractors, on an hourly basis, rather than as a contract. On the ticket that is signed each day, there's a space to describe "work performed." It is filled in, "As Directed."
I've worked an many such crews, working "as directed," and can tell you without a doubt, the government moron doing the directing was no expert. We could call them EINOs. Expert In Name Only.
Yea, time to shut them down and auction off all their equipment.
I feel like they are desperate... don't know why as they have such a friend in the administration... they want to do as much destruction as possible... it is very odd.
What no multi-million dollar fine for polluting the towns water supply? Oh wait that's right, you can't sue the EPA when they screw up.
Once again brought to you by the people who want to control every drop of water in the country.
And, every gun in the country.
When the EPA does it, it's "only" 2,000 gallons of slightly polluted water; if you or I did it we'd be accused of poisoning the entire Rocky Mountain watershed with an ocean of utterly toxic chemicals.
And, that's if you just spill a quart of the stuff!
If you want FUBAR, just bring in a government agency. They bitch and moan about what normal folks do, and turn right around and screw the pooch, not once but several times...The Environmental Pollution Agency, doing it's best to screw up America...
