So the crazy bitch had her car towed for parking it somewhere she shouldn't have. This shit goes on all the time in DC. The "entitled" park where ever they wish and get pissy when they are towed off. Yes there are "sharks" looking for a quick meal. This one is that feels she is so important that she can be rude arrogant and a raging BITCH to someone attempting to help her. She didn't tow the car and she sure didn't park it where it shouldn't have been.

My car got towed before, and it was totally the ex-rat-bastard's fault. And the towing company was nothing but courteous to us at 2 a.m. in the morning. I had my car back in minutes without much a-do. Further, they apologized for having to tow it in the first place when they were only doing their job.
Edit: And we were later reimbursed for our expenses by the parking lot owner once he found out about it because the ex-rat bastard was the rightful renter of the space. He just drove my car instead of his that day and forgot to transfer the permit that hangs from the rear view mirror. Still no permit, car gets towed.

Can't even remember the last time I saw somebody parking in a Handicap spot who had an actual Handicap. They do have their little foo-foo dogs that they call doctor prescribed, companion animals though.
Frankly if you are so handicapped that you need a special space then you are too handicapped to be driving.

We have a handicapped tag to hang on the mirror, because my father in law, who doesn't drive, can't walk very far on his own, and needs help with his balance.
As CO2 mentioned, lots of other people have heart problems that prevent them from walking far, but they are fine to drive.
I have a friend that has to ride in an electric scooter because he was severely injured in a car accident, and he rarely parks in the handicapped spots, because there isn't enough room for him to get in and out with the scooter, so he parks farther away and double parks.
Just because you don't have a visible handicap doesn't mean you aren't handicapped.
Just look at Anthony, he's obviously mentally handicapped, but they let him have a computer anyway.
We have a handicapped placard so whoever is driving Mom or Dad around can use hang it from their mirror. Since that's usually me, it's usual home is my car. I would never ever use it for myself to get handier parking. Sometimes when my Dad is with me and I have to run into a store, he'll say, "Use the handicapped card!" but I would never, even if I'm picking up something for him. The other side of the coin is people who give me a dirty look when they see me come out of a grocery store and unlock the trunk -- I'm obviously not handicapped -- but those dirty looks always turn around when they see Dad teetering along behind me at a snail's pace pushing his cart full of his groceries.
I got a temporary placard when I had surgery on my knee. It was good for six months, but I only used it for a few weeks, until it didn't hurt so bad to walk very far.
Even though I've had eight operations on my legs, I still always park in the south forty, because my truck is giant sized, and also because I hate dealing with the UNhandicapped assholes that will sit and block an aisle for fifteen minutes waiting for someone to pull out of a close spot, because THEY don't want to walk very far.

In reality when it says NO parking, or has a time limit and you don't pay attention, I guarantee some little meter maid is paying attention....
I was talking with a meter maid in SF one day while waiting for an appointment. It's really amazing how many of them get the crap beat out of them by the tolerant leftards that live there.
Yea it is the same in Stockton and Sacramento, in Sacramento a buddy of mine who is a sergeant there said the worst screamers are staffers of democratic politicians..Their favorite line? "Do you know who I am?" Followed by the always stupid "I am gonna have your job for this!" Then they come in to argue the ticket, it gets denied and they have to pay anyway...Stupid liberals..

I looked perfectly fine with a heart that wouldn't beat over about 40 BPM. I had to sit down on the bed if I walked back to the bedroom to take a whizz before I could come back to the family room. I looked perfectly fine at a normal glance. I had no problem driving as you basically sit there.
That being said it is abused. There are plenty of people who use grannies permit. In SF every priest and nun in town has a HC Permit even though they're not handicapped (generally speaking).
You can't always judge a book by its' cover.

If you listen closely you can hear most of the attendant's replies and they were unfailingly polite. For instance, when the ESPN bitch said being there made her skin crawl, the attendant replied, "Well then lets get this done as fast as we can." She even was nice enough to warn the ESPN bitch that she was on camera. Yeah, I know it's irritating having your car towed but there's usually a reason it was towed and the towing company didn't create that reason and the attendant (who's probably making minimum wage) certainly isn't at fault.
The overwhelming reason your car is towed is for Government revenue enhancement.
Oh so you think it is only the government that has cars towed? Wrong! Some parking garages and lots are privately owned and they rent out spaces to individuals to park his/her car, you park there without a permit and you get towed. It's called protecting private property rights.
