Estimated cost of Obamacare doubles

Oops, estimated cost of Obamacare doubles. According to the CBO, not only is it twice as expensive as originally promised, it will cover 2 million fewer people, too. And these are merely estimates, so tune in next year for updated, even-more-frightening numbers.

  • Maybe because the libs "forgot" to mention the $3000 a year per slut cost of rubbers and porn ??

  • I think the Supreme Court is the only way Obamacare will not be fully implemented. We lost the battle because Conservatives didn't fight for fundamental insurance/healthcare change in the time between Hillarycare and Obamacare. I hope we can change what's happened, I don't have high hopes though.

    • Joe:"We lost the battle because Conservatives didn't fight for fundamental insurance/healthcare change in the time between Hillarycare and Obamacare."

I've long thought that if the Republicans had only put in a few modest health care reforms in the early 2000s, Obamacare could have been avoided.

  • Has anybody bothered to read this convoluted piece of shit of a health care bill yet? It seems every time I hear about it, the price goes up even more, could it be because the idiots who passed it royally screwed up?

  • I have the very bad feeling that we are going to get to know a lot of things about this 'passed' bill and it will not be pleasant, it will not be short, and we will not like it.

P.S. Merely doubling to $1.8 trillion is going to go to merely quadrupling by the time the 2014 estimate comes out. Well as long as women get free contraception it's all good.

    • Yup, it'll cost 4x as much and cover 1/2 as many people.
Obamanomics. the way to really bankrupt the system!

  • Yeah, and there's still two years to go before the POS gets implemented. Please, please, please, somebody get hit with a lightning bolt of sense and put this miserable piece of garbage out of its misery.
