• OK. So what if the Diabetes and Obesity are caused by the crappy Factory food we eat, the corn and abx and hormones that are in EVERYTHING, the hypertension caused by the neverending stress of trying to stretch a dollar to pay bills, feed families, get to work and keep their jobs? Yeah, no one is looking at the obvious, just like its easier to ban guns than to step up and provide appropriate care (up to an including long term hospitalization where necessary) for the mentally ill.

• From Darwinism comes the idea of the survival of the fittest. This leads to the idea of the heck with the unborn, the elderly, the handicapped, the sick, the weak. Hitler loved Darwin. He put it into effect when given the chance. If there is no God and there is no afterlife and we're all just mistakes, the idea comes to eliminate baggage human beings and improve the lives of the strong on this earth. Lincoln said you can tell the goodness of a society by how they treat those at the beginning of life and those at the end. We fail miserably on both counts and it's getting worse.

• Sounds like "Death Panels" to me. Remember when Sarah Palin was mocked and ridiculed for mentioning those words? Now, however, the "experts" are already drawing up trentative lists of people who should be denied medical care in the name of cost savings. Let's see: fat people, smokers, drinkers, old people, the mentally ill, people with physical disabilities, the homeless, jcrowley, Republicans...the list keeps getting longer.

  The motto is "Life unworthy of life". Who said that? Some people back in the 30s, I think.

• The more I read about this so called ACA, the more rights it tramples, and the more it sucks. How about we don't cover liberal politicians, they are more likely to be shot, thus why they need armed guards.

• How about AIDS patients? Hell, why not exclude ALL homosexuals, since they have such a high incidence of it to begin with?
