        • I would be willing to bet the FBI won't be called in to assist other countries with investigations. Why call the Junior Varsity when they have acted stupidly?

          • I never see the inside of a courtroom anymore but I cannot imagine how FBI forensics people are being handled after all the scandals their lab has had. If I was a defense attorney I'd put every FBI guy through the ringer, asking about this failure, that scandal, that fraudulent science, until even the judge & prosecutor didn't trust the guy anymore. What happens when the forensics people have zero credibility left? I've even heard nasty rumors that DNA evidence is open to doubt, which a few years ago I would have dismissed but now...

  • Typical result of a government run operation. Makes a person wonder what other research programs results are based off fudged data, like planetary surface temperatures perhaps?

  • This is not the first time the FBI labs and technicians have been caught up in such actions. There was a high profile murder case in this area were the FBI analyst fudged the ballistics test and didn't leave enough for the defense. On appeal the conviction was thrown out.

    Those involved should now be wearing matching clothing. Not so silent very well could be onto something as well. A final parting shot by lil Eric on his way out the door.

  • Or to play devils advocate, Did Holder order this so he could release more criminals and claim that the government was racist during the previous administrations including Clinton's? hmmmm you gotta wonder.

  • It's not about "exaggeration"; it's about "consensus!"

    If all the scientists who believe in something will clap their hands it will magically be right!
