Really sad that this journalist allowed the investigation to continue for so long. I understand she was probably threatened with jail time if she spoke out, but she should have made an anonymous call to someone.
Her situation is awful... but yeah I feel like some jail time in order to get a pedophile imprisoned is worth it. By the way... when exactly is illegal for a journalist to do her damn job?! I mean First Amendment everyone?!
An investigation that big and that drawn out is going to leak. Didn't we have a thread here before they even arrested him? Not sure oft he timeline, but I think Subway sacked him before he was arrested too. Someone leaked! She should have leaked something to one of her colleagues earlier on.
I agree that she should have done SOMETHING, however it makes NO SENSE that they tried to silence her to begin with.
Who should she call? She was working with the supposedly highest level crime fighters in the nation!

This is not an this OR that situation... Hurting him and suing the FBI (and ensuring that the people that allowed him to continue to hurt children are fired and punished) are not mutually exclusive.
