Me? I would have taken those coins gotten a PRIVATE meeting with an expert PRIVATE seller or negotiator. Sell it to a museum for beaucoup bucks or a private collector WITH a serious confidentiality clause. Find a good attorney and tax person to make sure that the government only gets what it gets or hide that money honey. Rich ppl do it every day.
The moment you open your mouth about something priceless you found, the government immediately thinks that YOUR luck is THEIR gain! The hell!
