I gave up on slide 29 It was way too slow. I did find a comment about carbon footprints, which explained why the study was done!
Global warming scam
As a safety professional and a motorcyclist, the physics and mechanics of riding on two wheels has been well known for decades. I have to say that I didn't learn a single thing from the slide show that wasn't intuitive or easy to figure out by a five year old. This explains why our President is able to ride a bicycle and not understand foreign policy.

It took me a bit as a small child to ride the bike. I kept falling and I am sure a lot of people have had the same experience. However once you learn the skill even after decades of not riding you pick it up right away. Even if small children have a hard time, this is a waste of money and it won't affect anyone that actually needs it.
This was a friend of a friend or a family member of someone that needed the money in order to remain employed or something. It is disgusting.
For me, the thing that made riding a bike possible (when it seemed like it shouldn't be able to function) was one simple notion: "Well, everyone else is doing it."
However, taking training wheels off requires tools.
This requires safety goggles, protective gloves, one qualified union employee to operate the wrench, another one to hold the bicycle in place, a supervisor to make sure it's all being performed safely, an inspector to pop in and make a surprise safety audit, a break room nearby with a clear path, safety-tested chairs in said break room...
..And, of course, there's the ubiquitous training video that needs to be produced and an online test to take after the video is viewed.
I can see how this runs into money rather quickly.
But, to the government, spending exorbitant amounts of money is like riding a bike: once they've done it, they never forget how.
You forgot the most important part:
•Roughly half our energy use and carbon footprint is for transportation.
And that is the reason for this study.

You can't teach a kid to ride a bike at a seminar, even if you spend $300,000 on it.
