  • There's got to be a good reason the Democrats are taking out one of their own. Either he's not kowtowing to their every whim, or he's taking a stand on something that goes against the beliefs of the degenerate left. Don't get me wrong, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

  • Menendez has been an arrogant ass for as long as I remember hearing his name. He thought he could do any dirty shit he wanted, and get away with it, just because the Latinos in his district would always vote for him. I'm surprised that Geraldo didn't move there just so he could vote for him.

  • I hear that Eric Holder has signed off on this.

Another useful idiot has outlived his usefulness.

Background - this character comes from Hudson County, right across the Hudson from NYC. Jersey City is in there. I do a lot of work in that area. While a passport is not necessary to go in and out, it does help to brush up on your Spanish. I heard that West New York conducts its official municipal meetings in Spanish.

That is just a bit of orientation as to what the place is like. It is not intended to imply that the Latin population has somehow created this. Hudson County has a long tradition of corruption that well predates the influx of Latin immigrants.

Holding municipal office in Hudson County is basically like working in a half-way house - except it's on your way IN to jail.

This is where Mr Menendez hails from. He was elected to the house from a gerrymandered district that was created to ensure the election of a Latin House member. The district stretched down the Kill Van Kull (the water between NJ and Staten Island), from Hudson County to Perth Amboy, a majority Latin town. But I'm sure the fishes in the Kill Van Kull all voted democratic.

And, btw, nobody here says "Joisey". You're much more likely to hear "Nyoo Yersee". Most people in N NJ will say "Noo Jrzy". If you are saying it without moving your mouth, you're probably saying it right.

Joisey was heard mainly in NYC, among the garment woikuhs, and in some areas of Brooklyn (Bensonhuyst being one)
