That's a loss of almost 10,000,000 (TEN MILLION) jobs since Porkulus was passed. That's close to $100,000 per lost job.

Is this woman for real? My parents get social security checks, they worked and paid into the system for over 40 years, and are on medicare plus private insurance they pay for. Both also get a retirement check from money they saved, IRA's, and now they are having to use more from their retirement account and private insurance to cover what medicare no longer pays for.
They have not recieved a COLA is three years, which is not that big a deal them them but for many retired Americans it is. They have seen their co-pays for medicare go up over 10% the past three years. All because of "closing the donut hole", this bimbo is talking about. It's a good thing they have health insurance, that they have paid for many years, or my fathers health problems would have bankrupted them by now.
I wish I could opt out of paying social security taxes and medicare. I would then be able to invest more of my earnings into my own retirement account and afford a better medical plan than I now have. Both are a Ponzi scheme, robbing Peter to pay Paul. The problem is more baby boomers are retiring, leaving fewer Pauls to pay the bill.
