Just look what it has done to Dubious Debbie!
Yes it’s true, antidepressants are both dangerous and ineffective ways
of curing depression, yet big pharma keeps encouraging us to swallow
more pills.
I was depressed for a long time and as a young person of only 25 years old it was hard for me to cope.
Luckily I found natural ways to cure depression that are not harmful to the body and work much better.
If you want to learn more about the dangers of antidepressants and how to cure depression naturally, you can go here http://depressioncure.me.pn/
There’s also a self-assessment test you can take to know if you’re depressed
The stupidity of putting fluoride in water is beyond measure.
Fluoride doesn't help your teeth when you ingest it. It merely poisons you. It's only worthwhile if applied topically to teeth. How many people swish their tap water around in their mouths before swallowing it?
And how does it help us to bathe in it, water our plants with it, etc.?
It's an industrial byproduct that companies would be fined for if they were caught dumping it, so some evil genius (you gotta give him points for being this clever) said, "Tell ya what: I can get the government to not only never fine us for dumping it, but to PAY us to dump it in the water!"
That's always been my thought -- that this is all a scheme to get paid for getting rid of someone's mine tailings. It is a very volatile element -- they tried to use compounds with it for rocket fuel, and gave it up as outrageously dangerous. This in the late fifties and early sixties, when you could get away with a lot more.
PS -- as a point of reference, the LD50 of sodium fluoride is pegged at 52mg/kg. This makes it about as toxic as nicotine, and 4x times more toxic than caffeine.
There are about 95 mg of caffeine in an 8oz cup of coffee.
There is about 1mg of sodium fluoride in a liter of water.
I have a choice when it comes to ingesting nicotine and caffeine.
And when it comes to how much fluoride is in a liter of water... how often do they check?
Yet various countries -- including Israel -- have banned fluoride from their water because of its links to cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Turns out aluminum has been linked to the latter and fluoride helps aluminum bind to the cells in your brain: http://douglassreport.com/2014/04/23/fluoride-and-alzheimers/. Meanwhile, as I keep saying, there is no credible link between fluoride use and health of teeth -- there is, however, actual bona fide research that shows TOO MUCH fluoride will rot your teeth.
Why my hops always come in glass. The Alzheimer’s/aluminum connection has been around for 20 years or so, but doesn't get a lot of play does it? Not like it's Global Warming or anything, just something in our everyday lives... thanks Alcoa.
Globull Warming is more important. There is real money and power involved in that stuff.
I've been saying it for years. If you look into the so-called evidence for putting fluoride into our drinking water, you'll find that it's non-existent. Like I said in the comment thread where we were debating vaccines, the federal government requires a warning on toothpaste telling you to call poison control if your kid eats toothpaste... because of the fluoride. So everybody knows it's a poison but we dump tons of it into our drinking water. Talk about insane. There is no dosage control when you dump it into the water. Some people drink lots of tap water, some people drink almost none. How does that make sense then as a distribution system?
Concur in part, for modern times. I have no problem with the basic concept, and I don't doubt that fluoride is good for your teeth. Today though --as you note in part -- how many people actually drink tap water? The explosion of bottled water popularity alone would be enough to cause reconsideration. Couple that with the enormous waste of how much water gets used for bathing, washing clothes & dishes, watering lawns, etc., it's certain that only a tiny portion of all the fluoride actually reaches its intended target. Combine that with the fact that virtually every toothpaste on the planet has fluoride -- and many mouthwashes -- I think it's just a waste of money and effort.
As for fluoride being a "poison": more than 500 years ago, the physician Paracelcus taught us that the poison is not the substance but the dose. I'll wager far more people have died of alcohol poisoning than of fluoride -- or aspirin.
"...far more people have died of alcohol poisoning than of fluoride..."
"Died" isn't the question. Fluoride is a developmental neurotoxin. It's implicated in mental problems.
Maybe that's why there's more liberals now?
Funny because when I was voting Democrat I was fatter and severely depressed. Now I am in great shape and not depressed.
Funny how that works...
So let's switch out the Fluoride with anti-depressants!
Paracelcus (whoever that is) was only half right: poison is not just about the dose, but also the repetition. Rather than compare fluoride to poisons that kill immediately, you should compare it to poisons with effects that pile up from long-term exposure. Like lead, for example. You've probably never heard of a person dying of lead poisoning, but you wouldn't put lead in your water. Hell, the Romans used lead as a sweetener because they didn't have sugar and they might have had the same discussions about lead that we're having about fluoride: "Hell, I've been drinking lead-acetate sweetened syrup for decades and I'm perfectly healthy!" Yeah, but you're dying inside, centurion, and your kids have IQs about twenty points lower than they should be.
As for the benefit to teeth: http://douglassreport.com/2011/01/17/fluoride-lies-exposed/.
Rat poison? I remember it too. I also remember it was said that mandatory helmet laws back in the day for motorcyclists would lead to seat belt laws. And the laughter that followed.
Today we have local cops with night vision equipment (supplied by 'HomeLand Security to fight terrorism') trawling for seat belt 'violators' and writing tickets.)
Welcome to Amerika. Or maybe more apropos, Bienvenido a Estados Unidos
[edit] In a hurry, working, (and it's cold!) that was supposed to go with Joe's relevant comment.
I remember when I was a kid members of the John Birch Society were widely derided and mocked for opposing flouride in the drinking water.
Why I make sure all my libations are now and forever clear.
Haha, I learned to hate that stuff when I was younger.
I remember (vaguely) when I was 19 or 20 we pooled our money and had a cookout at the pond. Grills, food, beverages, bonfire, swimming, a huge hit (or so I hear).
It was my job to slice and dice all the fruit and marinate it in everclear that afternoon and make the 'punch' in the brand new Rubbermaid trashcan. About halfway through I started nibbling on an orange slice here, a cherry there. Maybe some pineapple too, I don't really recall.
Anyway, the punch was made and I heard it was a real hit, but I was "napping" while they all partied. :P
Our standard was to cut a hole in one end of a watermelon, stand it up with the opening facing up, insert a bottle of Everclear, and let it soak in for a couple of days.
It helps take the edge off the taste.
Don't forget that alcohol kills germs.. :)
