Follow the money. Fugitive bankers from Ecuador flee to the U.S. with millions, donate heavily to Obama’s re-election campaign, somehow get residency status even though they are convicted criminal fugitives, and then, lo and behold, Eric Holder denies Ecuador’s request for extradition.

If these bankers were accused of wrong doing in Ecuador rest assured their only crime is to not play ball and hand over $$$ to the corrupt Correa regime.
I don't know, could be, but they've already been accused of causing trouble in Florida (starting a run on a bank for personal profit) and it is not a logical contradiction that a man might be a criminal in a communist country. Robbing banks, after all, is an occupation that exists independent of political viewpoints. That being said, I think the relevant point here is that the system operated uniquely to the benefit of rich friends of Obama. You will notice that the German couple who sought asylum in the U.S. to homeschool their children were treated much worse than these two guys, who have already been convicted in their home country of major crimes. It would be nice if the rules for immigration and extradition operated the same for everybody, regardless of how much they donated to the president's re-election campaign.
