One of the smartest thing republicans could do is to make cable a station by station choice. None of this package deal thing. Then almost all of the cable news networks would die. It isn't the advertising that is paying for leftist propaganda stations it is the franchise fees.
MSNBC gets less than 200,000 viewers on a lot of shows. Those 200K are not people that buy things....unless EBT covers it. Then NBC and comcast would have to fund the losses and they wouldn't.
The cable companies have the technology to give you all and any channels you want, I would even be happy to pay per channel for only the channels I want, as long as I can get all the channels I want. The problem is, the leftists that control the TV channels would have to shut down their favorite channels because they wouldn't generate enough subscribers to keep them running.
Remember the fee you pay every month is divided among the cable channels, whether you like it or not if you have comcast, your supporting BSNBC...
Makes sense most would prefer "Have a turkey neck" than "Want a chicken-shit?"
