Andrew Gillum Indictment

Former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum indicted on wire fraud charges. Another day, another honest Democrat.

Former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum has been indicted on multiple charges connected to campaign contribution fraud before and during his 2018 run for governor of Florida.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida unsealed the indictment Wednesday, showing Gillum has 21 counts against him. The indictment alleges that Gillum accepted gifts and campaign contributions from an undercover FBI agent.

Gillum is facing charges of conspiracy, wire fraud and making false statements to FBI agents, the court document says.

Sharon Lettman-Hicks was also listed as a defendant in the indictment.

  • He has a lot of balls claiming they investigated him before and found no wrongdoing. He's been investigated for shady dealings so many times most people have lost count and multiple times he was forced to pay back money he had received. So we know he has zero ethics and is on the take, that is beyond dispute. The only question has been whether they can prove he was being bribed for his vote. At one point he voted yes on giving city money to a restaurant, the owner of which was funding his political campaign. His response was to cut ties with the restaurant owner. Why cut ties with the guy if you were doing nothing wrong? Why pay back money in those other situations if the money was legitimate?
