There is a new fracking movie that I think people should go and support if they are able to get to it.
I'm all for advancing the science, but if it's safe, then the companies doing it should be required to take responsibility for the damage they do, and not hide behind "proprietary" recipes for their injections.
There's a reason that I sometimes refer to lefties as "Soft Heart, No Brain, Anti-Science Marxists."
Legitimately, fracking seems to be involved in cluster earthquakes in previously stable zones. And the risk of contaminating ground water is real. So rather than bicker about it, why not put that time and energy into establishing practices and systems to protect against the less than optimal side effects? Focus people. Be part of the solution, not the problem.
