Gotta love the French. First we get: French minister dresses down US over alleged spying on EU, France at ambassador’s July 4 fete. Then we get: France ‘runs vast electronic spying operation using NSA-style methods.’ Viva le espionnage électronique! Longue vie à hypocrisie française!

Sneak up behind France and say boo loudly, they'll surrender.
Walk up to France and point an empty water pistol at them, they'll surrender.
LOL The sad part is that they probably would agree, but agree in such an arrogant and self important way that you will want to punch them.
You won't have to fill the water pistol anyway- they'll wet themselves.
That reminds me of a joke which I'll try not to butcher too badly...
It was a couple centuries ago when the French and British were seemingly always at war with each other and as with most situations there were some unusual dialogs that took place across enemy lines. One such conversation took place between a high ranking French officer and a British general. The Frenchman was curious as to the reasoning behind the English officers donning such visible bright red coats and the Englishman explained that while even the most seasoned soldier will lose a bit of courage at the sight of blood when his leader were hurt, if the uniform made the blood difficult to see the less likely an officers injury would effect his troops' morale. Soon after that conversation, the French military began issuing its officers brown trousers.
Goooood, the French regime is already in some hot waters.
