George Will On Benghazi: ‘Rather Less Significant’ Than Watergate: Watergate, if you are not aware, was a Presidential scandal which ended with Richard Nixon resigning over having failed to cover up certain of his underlings failure to bug a hotel room. It is also clearly more significant then any other Presidential scandal in American history including ones in which there was an actual body count, a guy was sent to jail for making a YouTube video, the IRS was wielded as a weapon to crush political dissent and a President finally succeeded in wiretapping a hotel room . . . along with all of the rest of the country that it was located in.

Hey George, four Americans weren't left to die in the watergate hotel, as they were in Benghazi. It's time you, Bill Kristol and Fred Barnes get the hell out of the beltway and visit with the rest of us out in the country. We have a very good understanding of what is important. Not what all you beltway pundits try and tell us what's important. Get your heads out of your asses and face the facts, all of you are selling the country out just to keep from being called racist and bigots.
For a while he had been doing so well.
Some people can put up a front for only so long.
someone get me a baseball bat plz.
Gotta love the Media's sense of morality, treason, murder, and lying about it is less significant then getting caught bugging a bunch of criminals and lying about it.
You don't get it. You can lie under oath, & you can lie to get elected, but if you lie to the media, then they get pissed. They don't even hide it well.
Wow! I used to think that he was a lot smarter than now.
I'd say the event is definitely more significant that Watergate. No president has more callously used American lives, nor done less to try and save them. Unfortunately the MSM is on Obama's side unlike Nixon. So while the event was more significant, the peoples' reaction to it is sadly not.
People didn't die in Watergate.
Beat me to it.
But, that is the whole point, if Americans dying because King Barky was too busy polishing Reggie Love's knob to send help, is less significant than Nixon's people screwing up the bugging of Watergate, it only goes to show how far we have fallen as a country. When a B&E is more serious than 4 deaths, we have lost. So, it looks like King Barky has won, at least until the Mid-Terms are over.
According to what I've read about "Watergate". The whole purpose of bugging the back offices of the DNC was to find out which leading dumbocraps were being supplied hookers. The person behind it all was John Dean.
