  • Before ya'll beat on Jerry Rivers too bad I remember hearing something like this when the Bengahzi story first broke. It was something about Ambassador Stevens being there to close a deal with the rebels for arms and a ship waiting in port somewhere with those arms.

    It was hushed up very quickly and I can't find the article. It doesn't mean that it has disappeared from the blogosphere, it may just mean I ain't smart enough to find it.

  • So what's why the White House is having a PRIVATE Meeting with the media today?

    • Coordinating a new cover up... or the press is scripting a pantomime criticism for the state dept. and admin. being terminally naughty.

    • This fool tries so hard to be on the right side of history and assumes that no one will notice the difference when he does a 180 to achieve that end.

  • I am loathe to quote Hillary but honestly, what difference will this make? President Obama has media Kevalr surrounding him. About the only way Obama will get into serious trouble with the media is if he is caught attending a pro-life rally or someone discovers he is a member of the NRA.

    • Jim, my friend, I hope you're wrong about that media Kevlar. It appears, today, that at least some in the MSM may finally be putting their credibility ahead of protecting Obama and Hillary.

      I guess they like paychecks more than presidents.

  • Frankly Geraldo Rivera jumping aboard any issue comes at the expense of some measure of its credibility from where I sit.

    • I'm with you. On the one hand, this raises the possibility that the mainstream media is realizing there's a story here. On the other hand, it's Geraldo.

      • Perhaps plausible deniability has eroded as far as credibly supporting the regime and like panicked rats the media could be jumping off what is hopefully a sinking ship. This skeptic isn't holding his breath though. Frankly what has been going on is nothing short of a treason plot with the MSM criminally complicit. Benghazi possibly represents the point at which the hubris overcame the ability to pull the wool over our eyes when the cover up was so insultingly transparent that even some of the most staunch supporters of the regime couldn't swallow what amounted to unflavored feculence- albeit only after conservative voices wouldn't shut the hell up about it and the proverbial can of worms was forced open.

        The key to cultivating popular support for taking down the regime lies in the ability to communicate the degree of contempt to which we are all held that made possible the "Youtube video" end result of state department revisions to the so-called talking points that stripped the rhetoric of anything resembling fact and replaced it with something so insulting that Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm would have been too self respecting (not to mention respecting of the mental faculties of children) to have included in any of their fairy tales.

        • The new term for these information deprived pseudo intellectuals is deniable plausibility, as opposed to, plausible deniability.

  • Precedent Obama, when you've lost the battle for Gerlado Rivera, you've lost the war.

    Mr. Precedent, the insular bubble you've been living in since stealing the 2013 election by fraud is about to burst.
