Germany’s “green” economy foreshadows our own future. “Every year 600,000 households (2 million people) are getting their power switched off in Germany because they can’t afford the skyrocketing electric bills. At that rate the country (population 80 million) will become blacked-out like North Korea by 2050.” It’s not a bug, it’s a feature! It was recently reported in San Anotnio that we have fewer than 100 electric cars of any brand. But the city has installed 138 charging stations around town at $5 grand apeice. The avereage use? 2 hours a month. This was apparently done in association with the Federal government, who is doing this around the country as a marketing study. Anybody tell me where in the Constitution that the Fedeeral Government is allowed, much less encourage to do market studies for products? No wonder everyone hates green movements. The government is doing everything it possible can to make everyone hate it and to waste as much money as possible in pursuit of that goal!
If 600,000 of "Dear Leader's" entitlement minded followers ended up having their power shut off, I bet the coal industry would make a quick comeback in the electricity production business.

We "U.S." do not have the raw resources to go green, nor do we have the tech "Battery tech. among other tech".

According to Leftistpedia, err, I mean Wikipedia, Germans pay an average of 36 cents per kilowatt hour compared to an average of 11 cents in the USA. It ain't cheap to be green.
Without electricity people will turn to less green methods of heating and lighting. So the green economy has an inverse impact on the environment. Stupid greens.
