As the week ended, Obama’s palace guard in the American media were demanding that every other Republican candidate distance himself from Donald Trump’s failure to correct, among thousands of attendees at his events, one who apparently is under the reprehensible illusion that the President is a Muslim.

Wasn't Romney's religion an issue? He actually made at least two speeches that I can remember about the tenets of his beliefs and where he stands on that. I thought that was completely unnecessary. However what is good for the goose... right?

Has anyone looked into the shill that launched the original comment at Trump in the first place? When I first heard the sound bite my initial impression was "Media Matters operative".
Gutfeld stated that everyone knew who Joe the Plumber was within 24 hours of him speaking to Obama (and that was him taking the opportunity as he did leave in the area) and within 24 hours he was accused of being an operative for the Republican party and not a real person and trying to find out about his past. We know at least what the young woman that made the sleeping giant comment that kind of started the TEA party and the old lady that spoke to McCain about Obama being a Muslim. We don't even know what this guy looks like... It is very suspect.
