Too bad Keith Oblermann, Chris Matthews and Maureen Dowd et. al. won't step down so they can focus on their recovery.
I am not sure recovery is an option in those cases.
But the best part is the Thorazine shuffle, Picture all of them in a bath robe, unshaven for days (even Maureen) walking around in circles smoking eight cigarettes at one time, scratching themselves in the nether regions, blank stare ...That makes them harmless, easy to control and they can not put together a complete sentence to save themselves....I recommend a high dose for all the staffers at PMSNBC and other liberal media outlets....
And the residents of the WHite House, who are not far off that description already!

Yes, she should have resigned before. However, it probably took her this long to realize that she needed to do so. Brain injuries are unique in that regard. Perhaps the brain cannot realize that it is severely compromised.
As one who lives with a husband with has a significant brain injury, I know what I'm talking about.
I have worked with folks with traumatic brain injury, and that's why I have been saying she should have been replaced long since. It is a hard and consuming job to live with TBI. Ask some of our veterans!

Alright, drb, after reading your post I had to go over there and see for myself. I haven't seen that many liberal women's tears since Hillary decided to stay with Bill.

It had all the appearances of a coven -- but, with stellar examples such as John running around, how could anyone tell the difference between a lib female and a lib male?
While I feel the shooting of Representative Giffords was an appalling tragedy, this resignation is long overdue. She shold have been replaced as soon as the extent of her injuries were known. It will be a long time, if ever, before she can return to the life of a congressman. I suspect they have hung onto the seat this long to prevent the possibility of a Republican being named to her seat.
She is likely being groomed to lead the Gabby Giffords Gun Grabber Gang under the auspices of Sarah Brady and all her funseeker commie pals. They're not gonna let a spokesperson that was nearly killed by the TEA party get away!
