Today's Rasmussen poll of Iowa has Gingrich at 32, Romney at 19, and Cain down to 13. The conservatives might be starting to coalesce around Gingrich as Cain's numbers drop. Today's Rasmussen national poll has Obama 46, Gingrich 41. But most of the undecided vote rarely goes for an incumbent President who is well known. The poll has Romney 44 and Obama 42.

If Newt didn't have all the personal baggage he might be the nominee because he's smart and he debates well. Romney is a good man but in his heart of hearts he probably is a Rockefeller Republican. He seemed to be a liberal Republican until he started running for President.
At least Romney did not ask his dying wife to sign divorce papers. Newt needs to go home as soon as possible.
Yes, Newt has lots of baggage, but he's spot on.
