Google chairman bankrolled tech shop exclusively for Democrats. Now that Google is openly partisan, will they have to follow campaign finance laws? Will the FEC sic a Lois Lerner-type pitbull on them? We aren’t holding our breath.

I no longer Google.
I us duck duck go for most searches. Like to find the official website for something. If I am doing research, I usually go through a VPN that has no email attached to it, so the spies can't track me!

check the settings up in the right hand corner, really easy and can make a huge difference. The Advanced search is good too. Searches 5 different engines, anon. and no cookies ever.
This takes a little getting used to, but for some things it's pretty good, and also anon.

I try to use Bing first over Google but sometimes it just doesn't produce the results I'm looking for. I do what I can to minimize Google - I block its cookies and refuse to use Gmail or any of their other crap.
