Google Tax Probe to Focus on Offshore Units

The IRS is auditing how Google Inc. avoided federal income taxes by shifting profit into offshore subsidiaries, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. Hmmm, Google… Say, haven’t a bunch of Googlers come out recently for HIGHER taxes on corporations and the rich? Must be our imagination.

offshore deals "including its $1.65 billion purchase of YouTube" - wow. But do a search for "obama is an idiot" during the election cycle and you'll get ZERO results...
