GOP candidate for Calif. governor is sex offender, served decade in jail for manslaughter. THIS is why the GOP can’t win in California. Now if this guy was a Democrat he might win hands down over Jerry Brown. THIS is also why we don’t give the GOP in California one cent. Frankly this guy shouldn’t have even been let into the convention.

Is he really a republican or a democrat in disguise put there to create the rumor among low information voters, "The GOP has a sex offender running for governor" BS. This can't look good for the REAL candidate Tim Donnelly.

Considering how many Kalifornia politicians have been arrested or convicted of crimes, this guy is just ahead of the curve. If he wins instead of the Golden State we could be the Pervert State. That would make a lot of democrats/child molesters happy. I bet he gets Nambla's support, and he will get the convict vote which in places like Oakland is over 70 percent.
This is not a story: he's merely running in the primary. You can't legally stop someone from filing the necessary papers and running for election. All you can do is make sure he doesn't win. The Republican Party, for all its faults, is pretty good down on the electorate level at getting rid of these clowns before they have a chance to get into office. On the other hand, if this guy was a Democrat he'd probably win.
So even convicted felons can run? I am not talking someone caught with drugs. I mean the biggies. Murder, manslughter, rape, child molesting? If that ISN"T against the law, it should be.
Then where would Illinois find enough candidates to stay in power?

I don't know, he might not fit into the GOP in any other state - but California? Hmmm... Perverts seem to find a home in California, but IF HE WAS a Democrat, he'd be a shoe in! A guaranteed win for the next 20 years, or until he got caught with a minor again.
