There is no difference between republican and democrat. None. I casted my last republican vote for Mitt. Now it's a conservative vote or none at all.
Again I will say that Obama will get more from McConnell than he did from Reid. All of the democrats voted for erasing The Constitutional requirement for the Senate to ratify treaties. If a democrat votes for it, it is bad. Oh wait, republicans all voted for it too. Wow what a difference. Vote republican again.
