Government Shutdown Hype. “…the suggestion that ‘the government could miss interest payments on Treasurys, triggering a first-ever default by the U.S. government’ is equally nonsensical. US treasuries would be the last thing that would go unpaid.” Ummm, lies, damn lies and journ0lism.

The Damage Often Done by On-Duty Non-Essential Personnel
http://www.teapartynation.com/profiles/blog/show?id=3355873:BlogPost:2667547&xgs=1&xg_source=msg_share_post
Here's a nice peace of history. There's been 17 government shut downs since 1976. Guess what, things got done and we all survived. It's time for the republicans actually stood up and said hey wait a minute this has happened in the past and it's going to happen again. We survived the others and we'll survive this one and any other that comes along.
So shut the federal govt down.
The GOP picked up two Senate seats after the last one. Bring it on. Thinking people will soon realize that essential federal services are all we need. I can't wait for the liberal howling tomorrow. The rhetoric will be at an all-time high.
Keep this in mind: next time some prog retreats to the Obamacare is the law argument, just remind the moron so are federal anti-illegal immigration statutes.
Vice industries do well in times of financial upheaval. Bartender with a following, check. Gambling, come this week, check. If we had a stripper pole and I was 21 and thin again, I'd be able to pay my mortgage of by the end of the year (I have lots of cougar regulars).
I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that you ought to appreciate.
"The HARDEST part about being a bartender is figuring out who is drunk or just stupid."
It even had a website to find bar specific products:
barproducts.com
And here's the kicker. Went into work today and apparently the following may have spoken. Found out I've been nominated for "hottest bartender" in our local nightlife mag. I have no chance, mind you, but it was a nice ego boost considering I was havinga little "turning 40 crisis" a couple weeks ago. I'd love to know how it happened, but the partner has been snarkily referring to me as "hottest bartender". If he keeps it up he'll be saying something like "well if it isn't Central Illinois' hottest bartender visiting me in the hospital after running me over". (If he's reading this, I'm just joking BTW.)
LOL!! You little hottie!
Is there a formal evening-wear and bathing suit competition?
It's not as hard as you think. For instance "he who shall not be named" probably is sober when he posts his nonsense. Kind of sad when you think about it.
What's sad is that not all the morons that are slurring their words, drooling, and have runny noses, aren't drunk, they're local Dem politicians and "He who must not be named's" close relatives.
I know, I used to work as a bouncer in a Jersey Shore rock bar.
They should shut down the grubbermint, Think about it, they don't do anything, they waste money, every hour their not there ,money we save, less Emperor O can give away for useless thing and add to the national debt. So he can play more golf. and do the blame game Bush, Republicans, everybody who is not aboard the agenda." Hey it's not my fault, the country is in default" or is it?
The left is working overtime to try and scare everyone into thinking the world will end if the government shuts down. They are counting on the short memories of marijuana addled brains of the left to forget the previous shutdowns, which had little to no effect on the country. They are also hoping that you will forget that most of those shutdowns happened under Carter and Clinton.
Threatening to shut down a government run by liberals... that's a lot like a teen threatening not to load the family car with a bunch of delinquent friends and drive to a drunken party.
More fear mongering by the media boot lickers. No mention however of how the debt hasn't changed in 4 months however.
