Individual tweets are generally sh-t. But there's interesting meta in the network/graphs of followers, retweets, etc. I've seen some striking differences in visualization of viral patterns contrasted between Tea Partiers and OWS
This won't bother me, if Obama has his Blackberry messages broadcast to the US.
Of course ya know what they say... Twitter is full of stupid messages for the stupid, by the stupid. So it makes sense that Obama thinks he will find some useful information.

Fred is one of my favorite parts of Twitter.
Yeah, you only have a right to privacy during Republican years, or if you want to murder your baby. It all goes away when it's a donk in the whitehouse. All of a sudden, these incursions on your rights are just fine.
Based on the few twitter tweets I have heard/seen, there isn't anything very historic about OMG! Demi and Ashton getting divorced!!!! Sounds like a bullshit reason to be nosy to me.
I use Twitter to help promote events that I'm performing at. Granted, most Tweets are absolute garbage, not worth the reading.
And it's always the conservative who is portrayed as nosey and violating "privacy" rights. It's always the consevative who is said to be ushering in the authoritarian/totalitarian state. The media and the entertainers went on and on for years about the Patriot Act during the Bush years, but now they don't seem to want to discuss things like this from a supposedly tolerant, live and let live liberal.
Go ahead and take my tweets! In 100 years, they will hopefully see me as a patriot fighting against tyranny!
Never tweeted never will, altho I am sure some putz Like Olivia reports our postings here to dear leader on a regular basis...The little brownshirt everyone loves to hate.
