• I am trying to figure out why this is important to me or to anyone outside of the EU? It is their own fault for bringing a country like Greece into the EU and keep bailing them out for years while it continued with its insane socialist government.

• What amazes me about this, is that yesterday, the stock market tanked, but today it went up!
  Is it just me, or are the powers that be, not pay attention to what is happening, and just make up shit as they go along? How can the market drop before the default, and go up when the default actually happens? I was under the impression that this was a bad thing.

  • Shoot, market fundamentals went pfft years ago. Just look at the summer of '09 when jobs were still flying out the window here in the US, yet the markets rebounded. Layoffs didn't really slow down until a year later and the "recovery" has been lackluster at best but that doesn't stop the markets from reaching new highs.

    Wall Street and K Street run side by side, Main Street is for the commoners outside of town.
