Guess who’s been overspending. The Nobel Foundation, which awarded Peace Prizes to Al Gore and Barack Obama and an Economics Prize to Paul Krugman, has been running a deficit for ten years. Now the prizes will have to be cut 20%. Put that in your Keynesian crack pipe and smoke it you leftwing Scandanavian wankers.

So what DID Obama do with his prize money? Since it's not legal for him to accept it while in office...
He kept it. The answer to the question was never answered and there was a rumor about "charity" but he never spoke about it and the media stopped asking. Probably put it away for the kids (I hope).
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA He stuck it where it would be difficult to trace, and by refusing to speak of it, ensured the MSM would never really investigate. He kept every red cent and its gathering interest somewhere in the Caymans!
He must be. He was hatin' on the Caymans a while back. That tells me he is putting money away somewhere after he is done as Prez.
The Nobel is the modern day equal to a participation trophy and means about the same, When Al weatherwhore Gore, Obutthead and Paul Ican'tadd Krugman get one does it really mean anything? Give them a little dancing girl on a pedestal made of chocolate and a 50 dollar gift card to a whorehouse in Nevada...
Sounds like the Euro-Snobs had better hope they change things before they go completely broke.
The Nobel used to be a grand prize and achievement given to select individuals for a lifetime of hard work and discovery at a time when the world was changing and advancing like never before. Now it's just political nonsense. It's like those trophies I got for playing basketball that my mother still keeps in her basement although I was absolutely terrible, choked every time I got the ball, and everyone made the team.
Once Gore, a politician, won the peace prize for an untestable theory in a science, it was all downhill. That put him in the same category as Mother Teresa. Yet one was poor and the other has made countless millions scamming people.
Once something gets hijacked by liberals it goes to hell.
Actually Arafat winning was disgusting. I think that could have been the beginning of the end unless someone can go back and post another detestable person.
I'm having real trouble figuring out who of the three to laugh at the most. Giving Gore and Obama a Peace Prize is asinine, but I think giving Krugman an Economics Prize is the funniest.
I don't know much about Mr. Nobel, but I think he would be disgusted at all the freaks who have won and what is name is now associated with.
The man was Dyn-o-mite!
I wonder if his kids called him Pop.
I heard he backfired a lot after meals.
Wow!!!! It never fails. The puns are just exploding all over the place.
Doesn't take much to start another eruption.
My head is going to explode!
Yeah, he'd probably explode in anger.
that is funny it is interesting that he is not known for TNT. He must have been a liberal type person though as his Prize was supposed a way to redeem himself in the eyes of the world because of that. However, I think that perhaps he would have been decent enough to recognize the tripe his name now represents.
The only area in which there is no Nobel prize is Math. He HATED a colleague who was a math person, so he left them out of his will in establishing the Prize. Gues Mr. Nobel wasn't very noble!
Sounds like their medals are now going to have cheaper chocolate on the inside. That's a bummer.
I don't want one now.
The same stuff you can get in the dollar store?
Bail-out barry will save them if they give michelle a prize
Trickie, I think you typo'd, shouldn't that be "give michelle a pizza"?
"Put that in your Keynesian crack pipe and smoke it you leftwing Scandanavian wankers."
JT, would you care to share your real feelings with us?
Srsly, this is another "Irony Meter goes to 11" moment.
Damn, that is funny! Imna take that and put it on everything I stick this story on. Thanks!
I need to work on my subtlety, don't I?
No, you're subtlety is just fine, your sarcasm could use a bit more bite though! ;-)
