I’m A Democrat. And I hate the fact that MSNBC.com produced this horrible cartoon.
If you ask me, it’s pretty sick that someone would draw our beloved Muslim President nailed to a cross. But it was our side that did it, so, of course, there’s no moral outrage in the rest of the media. And that’s what upsets me — a little more moral outrage from the left might help us score some political points that we really need right now.
See, if someone on the right had drawn this cartoon, we could’ve said all the things we always say about the right being racist, Islamophobic, hayseed hicks desperately clinging to their guns and their God, crucifying the Lord Barack Almighty despite the miracles he’s performed for this country.
Oh, who the hell am I kidding? We’re going to say those things about you conservative loons anyway.
But you can still help us out. This boneheaded MSNBC artist screwed up and drew Obama hanging on a cross. We need someone on the right to draw him hanging from a tree, the way good Democrats in the Ku Klux Klan hung black people from trees for generations. (You may recall that West Virginia Democrat Senator Robert Byrd once advocated doing in order to get elected. And Bill Clinton said he made all Democrats proud.) That cartoon, my conservative friends, would be solid proof that you are the horrible racists we Democrats keep saying you are.
While our liberal media brethren have ignored how disgusting it is to show someone hanging on a cross, especially the first black President, there’s no way they’d ignore a cartoon that showed him hanging from a tree. That would be offensive. Our liberal media friends would go nuts.
Are there any conservative cartoonists out there who’d like to help us out in November? We could use your help right about now.

Hanging from a tree? Right... the earth first weenies would be all over that mourning the misuse of the tree and worrying about the damage the rope has done to the bark.
Even imaginary tree abuse can't be tolerated. The lynching? Obama isn't a tree so they wouldn't care, even though they voted for him.
Enough of this cross or tree hanging silliness. What ever happened to the good old "drawn and quartered" days? I've got enough horses doing nothing but munching dry grass in parched pastures due to man-made global warming!. They need a clever cartoonist to give them a job on paper at least.! (;>)
Ahh yes, a lefty(even if only a fake lefty) asking us to draw barry hanging from a tree.....you see, the irony there-and I am sure this is what I_AM_A_DEMOCRAT was trying to get across, is that only a lefty would come up with the idea of barry hanging from a tree. Only the party who brought us the KKK, segregation, the trail of tears, etc, would think like that!
As for us on the right-we only want to see him in Jail for being a traitor-we will let god sort it out when his time comes-we don't need to hasten that-that may be how the left thinks, but not we Christians, and conservatives on the right!
We believe in the rule of law, the FIRST AMENDMENT, which guarantees the retard who drew that cartoon the right to do so, no matter who it offends, and the right of MSNBC, no matter how ill-informed and backwards they are, to publish that tripe!
So, in the end, the irony of I_Democrat is not lost on me-and I hope everyone else got the whole thing-it is a rant made to show just how racist the left is, and how non-racist the right is-thank you I_democrat-great piece!
It's a sign of how polarized this president has made us when people can't see the tongue firmly planted in the cheek.
Where is the call for a FATWA against the artist, MSNBC and all connected with this obvious insult to the Christian religion??
Oh yeah, whoops, Christians haven't done that kind of stuff for about a thousand years now.

From a liberal point of view, this is not in anyway offensive. In fact, it is fact.
From a conservative point of view, the cartoon isn't accurate. It says nothing about forgiveness
Besides, it's totally immaterial whether Obama is a Protestant, Mormon, Catholic, Buddhist, Taoist, Muslim, or Marxist.
The only real problem with Obama is his policies. They stink to high heaven--72 virgins and all.

I am a Democrat too - And I LOVE this cartoon. You must not be a real Democrat, because we don't hate. We love everything and everyone! We're the party of acceptance and diversity. Didn't you get the memo?
