I'll bet Ham-arse be magic with Whistling Moon Travelers.
The story I read about the Iron Dome system said that the computers that control the system actually figure a trajectory for each rocket launched, and if it's going to hit in an area that's not sensitive, it ignores it, only shooting down the ones heading for areas where people might get hurt.
If this is true, what are the odds that the Palestinian areas are marked on the computer's maps as areas to allow the rocket through? In which case, it's a brilliant strategy. I hope there were plenty of casualties.
I'm pretty sure that it only concerns itself with targets in Israel, anywhere else is ignored. That way, if it goes toward Palestinians, they're toast, if it goes toward any innocent or otherwise uninvolved peoples, there will be a huge backlash against Hamas.
Wernher Von Braun would be aghast at their accuracy. I'm waiting for the video that comes out when one blows up on the launch pad.
They should have stuck with throwing rocks.
Maybe some of the younger, hipper terrorists are wearing their keffiyeh backwards.
Nah, they were using new technology, bitch seeking missiles.
If this is the case, keep firing.
If I remember correctly, the term is "Fire for Effect"
You are correct. 4 years in field artillery, U.S. Army. The forward observer makes the call after a spotting round hits the target or close enough to make the necessary adjustments.
Well, I certainly like the effect of the rocket in this story!
