Restaurants often reflect the nature of their owners...good owners = good restaurants, bad owners = bad restaurants. It's not necessarily the amount of money you throw at your business that makes it or breaks it, it's often the amount of your heart and soul that are in the business that make it go. If your world view is one of hedonism and social perversity, the things around, the people you associate with, and your view of yourself will be reflected in the most common habits of your existence. It all comes down to that old saw: "Birds of a feather flock together."

Also, these "parents" no doubt thought that all they had to do was throw Gaga's money at something, probably "something they've always wanted to do," and it would be an automatic success. They are very likely absent when it comes to the day to day management. I'm glad that I now know who is behind this establishment.... had I not known, and had I gotten a Groupon I might have gone there! Holy GaGa!
