This rates right up there with Heidi Klum Judging Ammerica's got Talent. Well, actually, if he really knows baseball, this may be better.
Let's play the liberal game one time. Find out who the advertisers are on this pathetic little show and conduct a campaign of letters, emails, and boycotts just to remind them of one little fact - "WE'RE MAD AS HELL AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!".

I actually think he would have been a very good sports announcer/analyst if not for him being absolutely crazy. I can see an alternate universe where he was never on MSNBC, wasn't a far left radical, and made one hell of a career in sports broadcasting, no politics involved.

To be fair to BathTubBoy, baseball is the 1 thing he DOES know. His biggest issues will be in staying clear of politics completely, & not burning this current bridge. He has a long history of not playing nice with others.
He might know baseball but so do many others. Olbermann is an inappropriate hire because people with no scruples and no honesty pollute whatever environment they inhabit. Imagine the unfair treatment that will be accorded to any baseball player who makes the mistake of adopting a public conservative position, as RGIII has done in football. Olbermann will crucify him.
