HHS seeking access to “full Twitter historical data”… for “ongoing monitoring” of public health issues. What “public health” issues are they monitoring? Psychosis-induced failure to kiss Obama’s behind? Hallucinations that progressives are fascists? Public health issues… riiiight.

Well, here we are with another "it's here - like it or not" scientific invention: the ability to track everybody everywhere all the time.
Now government won't just attract megalomaniacs and greedy bastards, but also those with voyeuristic tendencies and stalker mentalities.
Trying to pass or enforce laws against this insane surveillance is like trying to maintain an old sexual ethic after the pill was put on the market. No way. Utter futility.
Young people tell me, "We can't wait for your generation to die off, because you're all homophobic!" and I tell them, "Guess what else we're taking to our graves? We're the last generation that will know what it's like to live without being surveilled our whole lives."
Nice knowing you all... I'm sure I'll be hauled away in the middle of the night once the get a gander at my Twitter feed.
