Of course, the real tragedy here is that Nagin was re-elected AFTER Katrina by his brilliant constituents.

This story just had me laughing so hard I laughed my ass right off my chair. SERIOUSLY! NAGIN discussing how to prepare for a hurricane!!! The guy who refused to evacuate the poor of his city, but insisted on the rich and himself evacuate??? The guy who refused to allow the feds to come and help, but then blamed said feds and Bush for the lack of response. This just goes to show why MSNBC has like 3 viewers for the shows other than Lockdown.
I agree with your assessment Strina, but actually, then Governor of Louisiana is the one who blicked the National Guard. Why? Because she wanted to stay in charge, and the Ntional Guard would have been in charge as soon as they arrived. Stupidity runs deep in politicians.
Ray Nagin would of course suggest that the first thing you have the authorities do in a time of natural disaster is go door to door confiscating legally owned firearms from law-abiding citizens.
States should listen to nagin & do the exact opposite of what he says

Nagin is to hurricanes what BHO is to the Presidency, and PREPARED is not the word that many would choose to use. Given the way the MSM in general and PMSNBC in particular have fallen all over themselves for BHO, it's only natural that they would choose someone who knew nothing about the topic at hand at a time of great need to be their programming spokesperson.
Pretty sure the powers that be at PMSNBC think that an IRONY is something that gets wrinklies out of shirtsies.

They say hindsight is 20/20. If that is true, Nagin should have the perfect plan for the NEXT hurricane/flood in a bowl of land below sea level with 3/4 of its population with no transportation or money to leave, and no brains to survive afterwards (apologies to those that did not loot tv's, stereos. jewelry, shoes, etc, and actually tried to make do and save themselves and their families)

LOL, "School Bus" Nagin on preparing for a hurricane. If he's truthful one of those steps will include sticking one's head up one's ass. However, Nagin did have a great line about the slow recovery of New Orleans back in August of 2006: "You guys in New York can't get a hole in the ground fixed and it's five years later. So let's be fair."
This is so terrible! Everyone knows it was all Bush's fault nothing got done, he should have been down there with his Winchester personally seeing to it that noone was looting. Im so sick of everyone other than Bush getting blamed! Bush is responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs, Holocaust, Global Warming, Racism, Sexism, Classism, The Economy, The fact that we cant get our cars fixed @ GM, the reason Obamacare is unconstitutional, The Stock Markets, S&P, and hes generally responsible for the low approval ratings of the current POTUS. Cuz we all know without Bush, Obamas America we would be flying cars and using our own flatulence as fuel. We all know if it wasnt for Bush, Nagin would have been able to personally carry every man, woman and child on his back out of the storm, Bush told him by executive order he couldnt help.
