Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Exxon forgot the number one rule about politics in Amerika, ya gotta pay to play. Of course the Clintoons are going after Exxon, they quit dumping bribe money into their slush fund and la familia cannot have that. If they do not retaliate immediately others may get the idea they too can stop paying to play.
It seems to me that the American Mafia would be much more successful if they just followed the Clinton lead.

The hildabeast, slick Willie and cheating Chelsea got pissed off when the brief cases stopped showing up. Now she is all about making some big scene in order to "correct" the issue. The only thing that needs correcting, is their collective asses all in prison.

She's just ramping up her campaign a bit. She needs to steal back some of the real dumb ones from Bernie to get her poll numbers up. Higher poll numbers gets her the campaign money from the dumb ones with big $$.
We are rapidly sliding towards the corruption and crapitalism of the BRIC counties. The political machinations that businesses have to go thru to appease corrupt govt and connected NGOs would get you indicted under the the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act if you did them overseas.
