Hive of 40,000 bees discovered under bedroom floor almost a year after homeowner first heard loud buzzing

• I'll bet their heating bill will go up now. Bees keep themselves from freezing in the winter by beating their wings to produce warmth, which I'm thinking must have been helping to heat the house, too. 40,000 bees beating their wings? That's a lot of heat.
