Holder issues challenge to Texas on voter rights. Given Holder’s track record of voter suppression it is surprising that he would be championing voter rights. Until you realize that this criminal is doing no such thing. Instead he is again trying to subvert the rights of the voters to choose what is best for themselves -by giving that authority and power to foreign citizens. All this means is that lying POS Holder is looking out for his boss and trying to get all the dead, illegal aliens, and convicted felons he can to vote for Obungles and get more free shit. It is amazing that one of the most unethical, dishonest, and crooked people in the country is the Attorney General. To misquote a beer commercial, It don't get any shittier than this.
Don't count on all convicted felons voting for Obama. I know a couple that have had their voting rights restored, and they are very conservative.
Holder is whining about the legislature undoing the extreme gerrymandering done when the democrats held power. An example is the district I lived in Denton. Denton is 50 miles north of Dallas. I had the same congress critter as my brother. He lived in Amarillo, about 300 miles away. This was to get the students at UNT and TWU into this district, making sure it would stay in the D column.
It's also ironic that he quotes LBJ's speeches. I think LBJ was the one who started the National Association of Deceased Democrats.

Wow, so much bullsh1t in such a short story. Couple of highlights: Voter ID "goes against the arc of history." I'm more concerned about its relation to the Constitution, funny he didn't think of that. Let me see though, what political movement argues the importance and the inevitability of "history" as its justification?
Automatic voter registration. WTF does that even mean? I remember many moons ago, The Right Platitudinous Jesse Jackson tossing that phrase off: and thinking the same thing. What does it mean? How would it work? What happens when you move? Do you really propose a whole new bureaucracy to track every citizen's residence to keep his voter registration current? Oh, and to what point? If I don't have the motivation to go down to Town Hall and register once in my life (or tick off the little box on the Registry of Motor Vehicles form, as we have here in the Mass. SSR), why do you think I'm going to have the motivation to go down and vote? Or...maybe automatic voter voting?
Gerrymandering: come give it the same scrutiny here in Mass (where it was born) as you do in Texas. Come look at all the districts cut out to make sure there is not one single conservative/Republican stronghold to put a rep. in. We've got Brown of course - in a statewide election. I don't think we've had a Republican rep for 15 years.
