        • Good clip! In San Antonio we have twice let prisoners out of the county jail BY MISTAKE and recently the sherrifs's guys managed to let a perp get away on the way to jail. He never even got booked.

• Seems like someone in those Several thousand square foot mansions would have an extra pool house or something for these poor folk to live in. Of course, the pool houses would have to meet certain requirements for the homeless to be willing to stay there.. . . .

• They must not have swept really hard, if they only found 25.

  I really don't know what you're getting at with that remark. They've never claimed, "I'll take in homeless people." They've continually said, "We should take money from other people - you know: people who became millionaires by some other path than making movies and TV shows - and give it to the poor and downtrodden." And this is something they are always trying to do.

  • Don't forget the musicians.

    I always wondered why they would hold these benefit concerts to raise money, instead of just donating it themselves. Then I realized, they don't care enough to give their own money, they just want to take yours.

• The rule is that you can roust out homeless people during a Democratic administration. Nobody seems to bother about it or mind. During a Republican administration, trying to do this results in many lawsuits, demonstrations and people on television talking about heartless greedy capitalism.

  Go figure.

  • It seemed every damned rock concert I went to during the Reagan-Bush years was collecting money for the homeless. There was always a spot in the show where the singer begged us, "Give whatever you can to the people with the collection buckets outside the arena..."

    Totally stopped after Clinton was elected. Totally.
