Edgar Hoover – they displayed a quote by the latter next to a photo of the former. Both guys are probably rolling over in their graves.

I knew one couple that the husband took the wife's surname. Nice people. pretty liberal, and he had a difficult last name, so he went with hers. I have seen lots of awkwardly hyphenated names.
You mean like Anna Wang-Holder? Or Jennifer Best-Lay? Or Lisa Kuntz-Dick? Or Karen Fillerup-Standing? Or Elizabeth MacDonald-Berger?

When I was in the Air Force, I met a woman whose last name was Hattrack-Smith.
It took up a lot of real estate on her uniform.
I see some of those hyphenated names on the back of uniforms in the NFL and I always laugh.
By the way, the idea that Hoover cross dressed has been debunked. Turns out it was misinformation created by the Soviets.

Hoover, ah yes. Jimmah and HFH built the Hoover dam with stimulus money in the 55th state in Obama's first term. Unfortunately, it is not environmentally friendly and will need another stimulus to take it away and return the river to its original natural state. This is one of the prime environmental reasons the Keystone pipeline cannot be built.
As the Obamacare situation declines, BO will know all is lost when CBS is talking about him and showing a picture of Jimmy Carter(or Herbert Hoover, for that matter).
