  • Most of the people I work with are liberals, and they aren't stupid. They are willfully ignorant. They don't want to know and refuse to learn, or so much as listen. I have lost count of the number of times one guy in particular has turned red and shouted at me for offering a point of view with which he disagrees. The man won't even consider both sides of an issue before he jumps to a conclusion, and he more often than not whips out the race card. This is odd, as he is white, but that's another topic for another post. Anyway, I find people who are stupid easy to get along with. They rarely do anything harmful on purpose. I find ignorant people easy to get along with as well, as long as they are willing to learn. The willfully ignorant, however, confound and infuriate me to no end.

  • This is the wrong word. What Barackie et al are saying is that people should have FAITH. When you have FAITH in something or someone you stick with it to the bitter end regardless of difficulties. They are misusing the word hope because if they use the word FAITH it will not go over right. It would be like saying have FAITH in Obamie (as you would have faith in a deity), using Hope instead is a strategy but what they mean is Faith.

    It is like gays using the word tolerance, but when they describe it, what they are really saying is ACCEPTANCE. Tolerance does not equal Acceptance. It is like gay the word in of itself means happy, but they took it over, like the rainbow they took the symbol over. This is liberal strategy 101.

  • I rarely use the term, Useful Idiot anymore. Granted the Liberals in power use it themselves to describe the fools that support them, but I think "Gullible Dolt" is more descriptive.

  • Stoopid. Like when Bill Mahr said we gun owners fantasize about government trying to take over. No. We. Don't. We fantasize about ZOMBIES! That's right Bill, when the zombie acoplyse comes - oh, and we all know it's coming - you and my neighbors will be running to the house with the crazy gun owners and you'll be screaming "Shoot 'em in the head!."
    ADD and satire don't always come across well (sorry)...I guess I am saying that people normally aren't liberal stupid when survival is on the line. You know, like, "women are feminists until the fire alarm goes off." And you know these so-called gun-haters insist on armed security when they travel.
    But the HOPE banner is stupid. Hope is not a strategy. Hoping I win the lottery will not improve my retirement options.

      Speaking of the liberal mentality, has anyone ever heard anybody say, "That Nancy Pelosi is a GENIUS?" Anybody? How about Harry Reid? Debbie Whatshername-Shultz? (Crickets chirping)...

      • Better then Romney. I was planning to vote for Ron Paul, but Romney basically bought the Republican nomination with his corporate contributions.

        • The day you convince me with 3 reasons you would vote for Paul that don't contradict your previous mindless blathering of slogans is the day I personally drive to NYC and donate Charmin and my time and resources to your movement (no pun drb!)

          • You do realize that is an untrue statement? Entitlement spending is now 40% of the federal budget. Even with the bailouts and ongoing subsidies, "corporate welfare" dollars do not not even come near the Great Society programs and their offspring.

  • I couldn't agree more with you, RKae. Liberals call us stupid, but I've always thought that the rabid defense of abortion is pretty stupid.

  • How stupid are liberals? Well, let's see.

    1.) They think it's sick and weird to stifle nature by controlling sexual urges with reason and good judgement... but see nothing unnatural about aborting the baby that results from their hedonism.

    2.) No number 2 is necessary.
