  • Of course they start out by lying to you. Maybe they tell you that a fetus isn't a human or that only the state should have guns. We all work under the socialist banner for the common good. Those "Kulaks" over there are greedy. Then they tell you that you need a shower or go dig a hole.

  • "transcending the 2 sides, transcending the disagreement"

Translation: Stop disagreeing with the administration.

How do you kill 11 million people? You lie to them. And politicians are all lying to us. They lie when they want to get elected. And who is all over the news nowadays, trying to get elected? Well, gee willikers ... now I'm not going to mention any parties here, because this is not about party, no-no! But I do believe it's Romney, Gingrich, Santorum.

So do the math. If we keep disagreeing with the administration, and then go and elect the liars, 11 million people will die.

Okay, maybe I'm reading a bit into this. But excuse me - after paying attention for over 50 years now, I have heard these lines before. And they come only from one side. And I'm not mentioning any particular parties here, because I don't want to kill 11 million people.

    • andre, I thought I heard something a little different, but I could be wrong. I believe he referenced Hitler's appeal to Germans in common neighborhoods, then an unnamed modern politician who talked about redistributing wealth.

I think I know who that is and his address.

      • You're right. It's definitely about Hitler (though from what I've heard, there were 6 million that were killed after being loaded onto boxcars)

But IMO, he's laying the analogy right out there for us to extrapolate the "obvious". It's the same old "let's not argue, just agree with me" strategy they've been using in various forms, such as the military-marching-in-unison references in O's recent speech (hey you conservatives who think the military is the greatest - just look at them, do they argue about strategies? No! So stop with the arguing and just march with us)

      • And here I was thinking that when Obamacare gets fully instituted, that will take out 11 million people easy.
