Hurricane Sandy vs. Ali Velshi

Hurricane Sandy vs. CNN’s Ali Velshi. You try to be a good person, right? But then you see a dumbass reporter standing in the middle of a hurricane for no ostensible purpose other than ratings and you find yourself wishing for one perfectly-timed well-aimed extra-strong gust…

  • At least the frat brothers had an excuse, young, drunk and stupid. There is no explaining the reporter's actions though.

    • CNN reporters: immature, drunk on their mutual affirmation and willfully ignorant.

      Those frat rats were hilarious!

      • They've probably all got horrible colds about now. Unfortunately, excess amounts of alcohol can't protect you from virul infections.

        • I don't know about that, it seems to work for me. The last time I got a bad cold was about 10 years ago, even longer since I had the flu. No flu shots or any of that nonsense, just a little sippin' whiskey in the evening is all it takes!

  • Let's face it, Geraldo can survive the storm surge of Hurricane Ike it comes as no
surprise to me that more media morons are out there doing this.

    • i've said it b4 i'll say it again.

      HOWDY Blonde.

      screed alert:
btw, I not only survived Ike, in place, me an my neighbors had a hurricane party. I remember going out into the rain many times. I even yelled at it. what did ike cost me? I got ticketed for lighting off a firecracker within the city limits. (some fraidy cat liberal agoraphobic called the cops sayin' it was a gunshot.) why'd I light off the firecracker? Cuz that was a way i CHOSE to show that I was still alive and well, and not afraid a a blowhard. Much like i'm not afraid of anything a kenyan might say/do. even his lap-dog holder brings no fear to my heart.

      screed over/

        • Not if you're talking about the third circle of hell, where the gluttonous are "forced to lie in a vile slush produced by ceaseless foul, icy rain." Although, in truth, Ali's situation might more closely resemble the second circle, where the souls of carnal malefactors are "blown back and forth by the terrible winds of a violent storm, without rest."

Things don't really get hot until the sixth circle, where heretics are "trapped in flaming tombs." Ouch.

  • Thanks for this post! I'm so sick of these on-location reporters. They stand out there and chastise those that don't evacuate, and THERE THEY ARE!! And they go on and on and on.... and most of what they report is so obvious!

I'll admit that it is very interesting to see live shots during events like hurricane Sandy, but its NOT essential. Enough already!

  • I have NEVER claimed to be a good person, although others have hung that label on me.

Therefor, I have NO compunction praying for a GREAT BIG FREAKING WAVE washing this putz away.
